Galway United play their final home game in this season's SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division today (Saturday, 4th October 2025) when they host Waterford.
It's a special day for supporters as United host a 'Clubs and Family Day' with FREE tickets available as they seek a sizeable support to get behind the team, who remain in third place with two games remaining.

Second Captains podcaster and Irish Times GAA columnist Ciarán Murphy has released his second book 'Old Parish' following a successful writing debut with 'This is the Life: Days and Nights in the GAA.'
A lifelong footballer from Milltown, he tells the story about taking up hurling with a tiny club in the West Waterford Gaeltacht. Along the way, he embarked on a quest to understand the history, geography and mystique of this extraordinary sport.
