Galway United and Waterford couldn't be separated in a scoreless stalemate on Saturday (25th July 2026) in the final game of the Salthill Summer Series at Pearse Stadium.

The result leaves the Tribesmen in seventh place on 28 points, six points clear of the relegation places.

Galway United's next game is away to Bohemians on Sunday (2nd August).  Kick-off at Dalymount Park is 7pm.

Galway United reduced the gap to Women’s Premier Division leaders Athlone Town to just two points following a 2-0 win over DLR Waves on Sunday (26th July 2026).

Galway United's next game is against Sligo Rovers in the FAI Cup quarter-final next Saturday (1st August 2026).

The Galway Races Summer Festival gets underway today (Monday, 27th July 2026) with seven races to be decided in Ballybrit.

Action gets underay from 5.10pm, with the last race taking place at 8.20.  The €110,000 Connacht Hotel Handicap is the feature from 6.40.
