Despite not gaining promotion to intermediate football, Primary junior football champions Cárna-Caiseal take a step into the unknown when they travel to Leitrim's Aughavas in the AIB Connacht Junior Football Semi-Final on Sunday (16th November 2025).
Victories over Fr. Griffin's Éire Óg and Williamstown gave the Connemara club their first Galway silverware since 2012. But they face an in-form Aughavas outfit who will play Division 1 football in their county in 2026.

Just seven days after overcoming Sligo's Shamrock Gaels, Maigh Cuilinn are back in AIB Connacht Senior Football championship action this Sunday (16th November 2025) when they take on Leitrim Gaels.
Maigh Cuilinn are seeking to reach a first provincial decider since their last sojourn outside Galway in 2022, but the first-time winners in Leitrim will come to Salthill with nothing to lose.
Leading up to the game, former Maigh Cuilinn and Galway football star Gareth Bradshaw looked ahead to the game on 'Over The Line' with Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.

In the Domino's Men's National League Division 1 on Thursday (13th November 2025), Titans were 95-84 victors over Maigh Cuilinn in an all-Galway derby.
On Saturday, all three Galway teams are in action. Maigh Cuilinn host Tipp Talons at the Kingfisher from 7pm; Titans are away to Portlaoise Panthers at the same time; Maree head to Killarney Cougars at 7.30pm.
