The new AFLW Season kicks off this weekend and for Galway's own Aine McDonagh, it's an opportunity to continue her excellent form that saw her score four goals in seven games last season.
The former Galway Ladies Football and NUIG Mystics Basketball player has been a revelation since joining last season and this season is one of thirty-three Ladies Footballers who have gone over to Australia to play Aussie Rules.
John Mulligan caught up with Aine ahead of their opening game with Essendon.

Michael Duffy 10th and Ireland 4th going into the European Showjumping Team Final

Turloughmore Showjumper Michael Duffy jumped his second clear of the European Showjumping Championships in Milan this afternoon and is now 10th in the Individual Championship with the top 25 qualifying for the European Individual Final on Sunday.
His clear, combined with Shane Sweetnam who also jumped clear, means that Ireland are 4th in the team event going into the final tomorrow afternoon.
Less than half a penalty separates the top four going into tomorrow as Ireland bids to win the European team championship for the first time since 2017.
Michael's father Paul spoke to John Mulligan moments after the jumping finished.

Ollie is a very popular figure in Irish soccer circles. Following nine years with Finn Harps, Ollie joined Galway United this season as assistant to John Caulfield and has made a huge contribution to a very successful season so far.
He was chatting to Galway Bay FM's Gerry Murphy and George McDonagh.
