Galway United maintained their season-long unbeaten run at home as a brace of first-half Edward McCarthy goals and a second-half strike from Wassim Aouachria helped them to a 3-1 victory over Waterford at Eamon Deacy Park last night.
The Waterford goal came from Sam Perry ten minutes from time.
Next up for John Caulfield's side is the final away game of the season in Limerick against Treaty on Saturday, before the presentation of the Airtricity League First Division trophy on Friday night week after the last game of the season at home to Wexford.
After the game, Mike Rafferty spoke to Galway United assistant manager Ollie Horgan.

History was made in Denmark recently when the Irish Women's team won the WDF World Cup overcoming Wales in the final.
The team featured Galway County Team player Caroline Breen and was managed by another Galway man in Kevin Devaney from Kilkerrin.
Ireland were involved in a tough group that featured Luxembourg, France, Mongolia and Norway before beating The Netherlands in the last 16, Australia in the Quarter Final and Sweden in the Semi-Final to set up a final against the Welsh.
Ireland won the final 9-7 with Aoife McCormack taking out the winning double.
John Mulligan spoke to Kevin on Sunday Sport.

Galway United return to the Semi-Final of the Sports Direct FAI Cup for the first time since 2008 when they face Bohemians at Eamon Deacy Park on Saturday Afternoon.
For United, it has already been an incredible season.
The team won the Airtricity League First Division Title with five games to spare and in the Cup have beaten two Premier Division Sides in UCD and Dundalk. Scoring ten goals and conceded just one in those two games.
However, Bohemians will be coming to town in fine form and are currently fourth in the Premier Division and in the cup, beating Drogheda United 3-1 in the Quarter Final.
Galway United Manager John Caulfield spoke to John Mulligan ahead of the Cup Semi-Final.
