After winning two trophies and achieving promotion back to intermediate football, Menlough turn their attention to the Connacht junior championship this Saturday (11th November) when they host Roscommon winners St. Michael's.
The north Galway side secured their place with a 3-14 to 0-4 win over Clonbur two weeks previously, before beating Tuam Stars last Sunday in the junior promotion play-off.
Leading up to their Connacht quarter-final, Menlough manager Neil McHugh has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.

Fiona played basketball for Maree and represented Ireland at International level.
She also played rugby for Connacht before joining Paralympics Ireland.
Fiona spoke to Gerry Murphy and Mike Rafferty about her work with Paralympics Ireland and about Ireland's chances at next year's Paralympics in Paris.

Menlough will be playing Intermediate Championship Football next year after beating Tuam Stars in Pearse Stadium in the Promotion Playoff on Sunday morning.
Their 0-11 to 0-7 win means that they have conquered all before them in the Junior Championship this year.
