Ireland wing Mack Hansen makes his first appearance of the season for Connacht among seven changes from the side beaten 53-27 by the Bulls in Pretoria last weekend.

Scott Penny returns to captain Leinster from the openside flank, while hooker Ronan Kelleher makes his 50th appearance for the province.

CAMOGIE: Presentation Athenry manager Eoin O’Sullivan with Galway Bay FM’s Darren Kelly after their Connacht Senior A Colleges Final win over Seamount Kinvara

Presentation College Athenry retained the Connacht senior A colleges camogie title on Friday (1st December) following a 3-10 to 1-9 victory over Seamount Kinvara in Gilligan Park, Craughwell.

Vivienne Blaine, Siobhán Carr and Kerrie O'Driscoll got the goals for the victors who now advance to the All-Ireland series and a meeting with the Munster champions in February.

Afterwards, Presentation Athenry manager Eoin O'Sullivan chatted to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.

FOOTBALL: Corofin manager Kevin Johnson with Galway Bay FM’s Darren Kelly ahead of their Connacht senior final against Roscommon’s St. Brigid’s

For the first time in four years, Corofin contest a Connacht senior club football final on Sunday (3rd December) when they battle Roscommon's St. Brigid's.

It's the fourth time the sides have met at this stage.  St. Brigid's came through in 2006 and 2011, while Corofin enjoyed supremacy in 2016 with a 14-point winning margin.

The Galway champions got past Mayo's Ballina Stephenites 0-16 to 0-12 in the semi-final, while St. Brigid's held off Leitrim's Mohill by 1-7 to 0-8.

Galway City Honours Rugby World Cup Stars

A Mayoral reception was held in the Council Chamber of City Hall in Galway to recognise the achievements of Connacht’s Bundee Aki, Finlay Bealham and Mack Hansen in the Rugby World Cup this year.
