Galway begin their All-Ireland Minor Camogie Championship campaign this Sunday against Limerick (1st February 2026).
It's the first of five round-robin fixtures also featuring Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny and Tipperary with the top four advancing to semi-finals in April.
The Tribesgirls have a difficult opening assignment in this repeat of the 2024 under-16 final that went the Shannonsiders' way. But Galway will feature 15 players involved that day plus members of last year's under-16 champions.
Fintan McNamara is the new Galway minor manager and he joined Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly for a chat and first they looked back on Ardrahan's county senior success in 2018.
