As we continue our build up to Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final, Galway Bay FM looks back at all of Galway's games in the Leinster Championship and All-Ireland Series.
On May 24th, Galway played their final group game of the Leinster Championship and again had to come from behind to book a place in the Leinster Final.
After conceding three early goals on a sunny afternoon, goals from Jason Rabbitte and Conor Cooney helped the Tribesmen come back to win by 2-31 to 3-20.
With Kilkenny losing to the Metropolitians, it meant that Galway would face Dublin in the Leinster Final.

As we continue our build up to Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final, Galway Bay FM looks back at all of Galway's games in the Leinster Championship and All-Ireland Series.
On May 16th, Galway faced Dublin in Pearse Stadium and while the Dubs came away with a 3-16 to 0-21 win, Offaly's win over Wexford and Kilkenny's win over Kildare meant that Galway and Dublin were guaranteed to finish in the top 3 in Leinster SHC and thus are into the All Ireland series.
The Question was....What would happen the following week as Galway still had to play Wexford, Dublin had to play Kilkenny and Offaly had to play Kildare.

May the 9th saw Galway head to Newbridge to face Kildare in a game that saw Galway character come to the fore.
Ten points down at Half Time, it took three second half goals to see Galway come away with the win by nine points on a final score of 4-22 to 1-22.
Galway's goals coming from Rory Burke, Tom Monaghan, Cian Daniels and Conor Whelan as the Tribesmen made it three wins from three in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.

Every day over the next seven days in the build up to Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final, Galway Bay FM will look back at all of Galway's games in the Leinster Championship and All-Ireland Series.
Today, we start at the beginning when Galway faced Kilkenny in the opening round of the Leinster Championship.
The date was the 18th of April and Micheal Donoghue's Men produced a stunning performance to defeat Kilkenny by 3-25 to 1-16 at a sunny Pearse Stadium.
A Rory Burke brace and a goal from Jason Rabbitte crowned what was a fantastic victory for Micheal Donoghue's side. The hosts led by 2-8 to 0-9 at half time, and kicked on after the restart as they get their championship campaign off to the perfect start.

Galway's under-20 ladies footballers could make history this Saturday (11th June 2026) when they face Donegal in the first ever All-Ireland Final in this grade.
The Tribeswomen won three of their four group games in May, beating Meath, Mayo and Cork. But a loss to Dublin left them waiting a month before they knew they were qualified to take on the Ulster champions.
Leading up to the game, Galway manager Kevin Joyce has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
