A large crowd in the region of 2-3,000 were in Athenry on Sunday afternoon to welcome home the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Club Champions following their dramatic 0-14 to 0-12 win over St Finbarrs on Saturday evening.

The Galway Soccer Community was saddened to hear of the passing of George Guest on New Year's Day.
George was well known in Galway Soccer Circles, having been involved with Galway United for many years.
He was a former president of the club and will be forever known as the physio when United won the FAI Cup in 1991.
George was also heavily involved with Mervue United and the Galway FA.
Galway Bay FM paid tribute to the late George Guest as part of Saturday Sport.
John Mulligan was joined by former players Johnny Glynn and Gerry Daly. Joey Malone who managed the team in 1991, Terry Flaherty of Mervue United and Ger McGrath representing the Galway FA.
