Connacht head coach Stuart Lancaster has made three changes for Saturday’s final group game in the European Challenge Cup against France's Montauban (17th January 2026).
Dave Heffernan, Matthew Devine and Jack Carty all return from injury. Second rows Darragh Murray and Josh Murphy are both set to win their 50th caps. Victory will ensure Connacht a place in the last-16.

As the build up continues to the AIB All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final between Loughrea and Waterford's Ballygunner on Sunday (18th January 2026), Galway Bay FM were LIVE in the Auld Triangle to sense the atmosphere ahead of Loughrea's biggest game in 19 years.
During the first hour in studio, Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly checked in on both camps and heard from Loughrea captain Ian Hanrahan, Shane O'Brien, manager Tommy Kelly and chairperson Lillian Stanley. We also got the thoughts of Ballygunner's Pauric Mahony and manager Jason Ryan.

The Electric Ireland GAA Higher Education and Camogie Third Level Championships are underway with the Ashbourne Cup race in camogie commencing last Tuesday (13th January 2026).
University of Galway began with a 4-19 to 3-13 victory over TU Dublin in Round 1; while defending champions University of Limerick ran out 3-14 to 0-6 winners against SETU Waterford.
St. Thomas' Áine Keane is seeking a third consecutive crown with the Limerick college and was player of the tournament in their 2025 success.
Since then, an ACL injury robbed her of on field activity as Galway won the All-Ireland under-23 championships, as well as her club getting relegated to Senior B camogie.
Áine Keane caught up with Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly at the launch of the Electric Ireland championships and they began by chatting about all the changes over the last 12 months.
