Galway play their opening home game in the Lidl Ladies National Football League this Sunday when they host Kildare in Round 3 (7th February 2026).

The Tribeswomen have three points from two games and sit in third place in Division 1 following last week's defeat to Cork (1-10 to 2-5).

Galway senior manager Daniel Moynihan joined Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly to look ahead to the clash with his former charges, but first, he addressed that reversal against the Rebelettes.

Manager of the Glenamaddy Community School Junior Girls Team, John Kennedy, spoke to Galway Bay FM's John Mulligan after a 5-2 victory over Pobailscoil Ghaoith Dobhair in the All-Ireland semi-final played at the Showgrounds in Sligo on Tuesday afternoon.

John Mulligan reports from The Showgrounds as Glenamaddy Community School qualified for the FAI All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Girls Junior B Final after a 5-2 victory over Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair in their semi-final on Tuesday afternoon.
