Shark Swimming Club's Niamh Connery finished second in her heat of the 400m Individual Medley at the European Youth Olympics in Maribor Slovenia on Monday Morning.
The time was close to her personal best for the event and is excellent preparation for her other events this week, the 100m and 200m Breaststroke.
After the race today, Niamh spoke to Heather Boyle.
